The Business Transaction with Orica Has Been Completed

FORCIT and Orica have completed the business transaction concerning part of Orica's business in Finland and Sweden. With the acquisition, some of Orica's operations in Finland and Sweden became part of FORCIT's operations as of 2 December 2024. The transaction covers personnel related to the civilian explosives business, warehouses and stations, and the equipment required to provide services. The transaction will not affect FORCIT's Norwegian operations, which will continue as before.

This strategic step will improve the coverage FORCIT’s service network and increase available resources. It will also increase flexibility allowing FORCIT to better meet the demands of the future. In addition, a distribution arrangement between FORCIT and Orica will expand FORCIT's product range with Orica's advanced technology products, including wireless detonator technology (WebGen™).
