FORCIT Announces €70 Million Investment to Expand Defence Production Capacity

Major expansion strengthens European defence readiness and deterrence

FORCIT, a leading European defence company, announced today an investment of approximately €70 million to significantly expand its production capacity and enhance its ability to scale operations within its Defence business unit. The investment underscores FORCIT’s long-term commitment to supporting Europe’s security, resilience, and deterrence capabilities.

The majority of the investment will be directed to FORCIT’s existing production facility in Hanko, where the expansion will substantially increase capacity and improve flexibility and responsiveness to growing European demand. FORCIT anticipates that the effects of the investment will come on stream in steps during 2027. FORCIT Defence’s portfolio focuses on area-denial systems for both land and naval applications, and the company is experiencing steadily increasing demand for its systems and products.
