CHANGES IN THE MANAGEMENT OF FORCIT NORWAY & FORCIT INTERNATIONAL

Petter Jensen, who has been operating as the General Manager of Forcit Norway AS since 2018, will develop his position at Forcit Group taking over the role as Managing Director of Forcit International replacing Tomi Kouvonen, who will fully focus his efforts to develop & lead the O-Pitblast S.A. operations further. Petter Jensen has also been appointed as the new Business Development Director for FORCIT Explosives as of August 1^st, 2024.

Therefore, the Board of Directors of Forcit Norway AS has appointed Vegard Olsen as the new General Manager of Forcit Norway AS starting from August 1^st, 2024.

Vegard Olsen joined Forcit Norway on 1^st of March 2020 as Sales and Marketing Manager. His wide knowledge in explosives business combined with academic background and experience in various big customer projects gives him an excellent foundation to lead the company in future success.

In his new position, Petter will continue to support Vegard and the Norwegian business in processing major customer projects. “Growth in Norway has been made possible by an entrepreneurial approach and strong leadership, for which we have Petter Jensen to thank. His contribution has been indisputable. There is still work to be done, and it is now time for Vegard to earn his well-deserved position in the management of Forcit Norway. Our operations in Norway are in very strong hands also from now on”, says Tommi Halonen, Executive Vice President, FORCIT Explosives.
