Forcit Consulting Oy Acquires Bergwerk Oy in Finland

Forcit Consulting Oy, FORCIT Group’s affiliate providing consulting services for the construction and mining industry in Finland, will acquire Bergwerk Oy in its entirety. The companies have been working closely together for years when it comes to training and education, and now Bergwerk's operations are fully integrated into Forcit Consulting’s business. Three permanent employees will be transferred with the deal. Bergwerk's business will become part of Forcit Consulting as of 1 January 2024.

With the acquisition, Forcit Consulting will strengthen its training and blasting consulting business in Finland and expand its service offering in terms of mining planning and supervision.

The change does not affect the existing contracts or customer relationships. Bergwerk will continue to operate normally with its staff, who will transfer to the FORCIT Group as old employees. The owner of Bergwerk, Tuomo Hänninen, will be appointed as Forcit Consulting's Manager of Education and Mining Technology and will assume the overall responsibility for the education and training business and its development in the future, as well as lead the operations of mining technology consulting.
