WANDRD launches magnetic camera straps
WANDRD Magnetic Camera StrapsWANDRD introduces a new range of magnetic camera straps designed to make carrying, attaching and switching between cameras faster and more convenient. The collection includes two full-length straps, a wrist strap and accessories, all built around the new Magnetic CoreLock system.
The system uses magnets to guide the Torus Link into position, while a spring-loaded mechanical mechanism securely locks the connection. This means the camera is not held by magnetic force. A one-handed quick release makes it easy to detach the camera when switching between carrying and handheld shooting, even when wearing gloves. Each Torus Link is rated to support up to 90 kg, providing a strong connection for camera equipment. This rating applies to the individual connector, not the complete strap.
Comfortable carrying with greater flexibility
The straps feature soft liquid nylon webbing with rolled edges for comfortable carrying throughout the day. The 30 mm Magnetic Camera Strap is designed for larger camera setups, while the slimmer 15 mm Lite version suits smaller mirrorless cameras and photographers who prefer to travel light. Both offer smooth length adjustment, four carrying options and a practical on-body storage solution.
For a more compact alternative, the Magnetic Camera Wrist Strap features a self-tightening design that helps secure the camera if it slips from the hand.
The Torus Links also feature a three-stage colour wear indicator that makes it easy to identify when they need replacing. A DIY Magnetic Camera Strap Kit allows photographers to upgrade an existing strap with the CoreLock system, while additional Torus Links are available separately.
The straps are available in Black, Wasatch Green and WANDRD Red. The straps and DIY Kit come with WANDRD's lifetime warranty.
