The new Tamron 28-300mm F4-7.1 VC is a versatile all-in-one zoom lens for Sony E-mount full-frame mirrorless cameras. Covering a focal range from 28mm wide-angle to 300mm telephoto, this lens offers a 10.7x zoom ratio, superior imaging performance, and a compact design at just 126mm long and 610g.

The lens boasts high-quality optics with 20 elements in 13 groups, including XLD and LD elements to minimize aberrations, and BBAR-G2 coating to reduce ghosting and flare. Despite its wide focal range, it remains compact and lightweight, making it easy to carry when hiking or for extended shooting sessions.

Equipped with the VXD linear motor focus mechanism, the lens provides fast and accurate autofocus, with quiet operation for unobtrusive shooting. Tamron’s VC technology ensures steady images even at 300mm and in low light conditions. With a Minimum Object Distance (MOD) of 0.19m and a maximum magnification ratio of 1:2.8, it excels in close-up photography.

The lens includes the Focus Set Button and TAMRON Lens Utility for custom functions, a 67mm filter size, and a Zoom Lock mechanism. It is built with Moisture-Resistant Construction and a Fluorine Coating on the front element for durability. Additionally, it supports Fast Hybrid AF and Eye AF features, making it ideal for capturing diverse scenes with high performance and convenience for both photography and videography.
