Tamron announces development of a new dynamic wide-angle zoom for Fuji X

Tamron 11-20mm F2.8 Di III-A RXD for Fuji X-Mount

Tamron continues to boost the Fujifilm lens system with a new, versatile and dynamic wide-angle-zoom, Tamron 11-20mm F/2.8 Di III-A RXD.

Despite being a fast F2.8 aperture zoom lens, the lens is very small and feels perfectly balanced and matches the neat design of Fujifilm cameras flawlessly.

With the full-frame equivalent zoom range of 16.5-30mm, it’s the ideal lens for travel, landscape and streetphotography. The lens is protected by a moisture-resistant construction and has durable Fluorine Coating that provide extra protection when shooting outdoors in harsh conditions.

When shooting at the 11mm ultra wide-angle end, the lens allows for stunning close-range shooting performance and achieves a MOD of only 0.15m and a maximum magnification ratio of 1:4.

Tamron's RXD AF stepping focus motor provides fast and accurate autofocus with excellent focus tracking of moving subjects, so you never miss those important moments. In addition, the lens is extremely quiet, so it's perfect for both still photography and video recording in environments that require quiet mechanics.

Launch is planned in the spring, 2023. Price will be announced at a later date.
