The Saramonic Ultra is a 2-channel wireless microphone system ideal for filmmakers, content creators and event videographers as it combines advanced technology with ease of use, delivering high-precision audio that’s built to perform in challenging scenarios.

 

The new microphone comes with extreme noise tolerance and captures crystal-clear audio at sound levels up to 130 dB. Whether recording at a high-energy concert, a motor race, or in other noisy environments, the Ultra ensures true audio fidelity without distortion, offering creators unmatched reliability. It also features 32-bit float recording, providing a significantly wider dynamic range than traditional 16-bit or 24-bit recording. This capability empowers audio professionals with flexibility in post-production, letting them adjust levels without fear of clipping or added noise (32-bit float recording requires 8 GB onboard storage to be enabled).

For capturing voices with clarity, Saramonic’s ClearVoice technology intelligently reduces background noise, while Voice Boost and Low-Cut modes fine-tune audio to suit any recording environment. Automatic Gain Control (AGC) adapts audio levels on the fly, ensuring balanced, clear voice recordings without the need for manual adjustments.

 

The Ultra microphone has built-in timecode feature that allows seamless syncing of audio and video across multiple cameras, saving time in post-production with frame-accurate alignment. Timecode works by tagging each clip with its precise start time, down to the frame, ensuring clips align perfectly even if devices start or stop recording at different times.

 

The receiver and transmitter operate seamlessly up to 250 meters, with the option to add an external antenna for extended coverage, boosting the signal range up to 300 meters.

 

The transmitters are lightweight, weighing only 35g, yet are built for durability. Designed to endure rigorous use, they are also rated IPX5 for water resistance, ensuring reliable performance in challenging conditions. With 6-hour battery life on both transmitters and the receiver, it ensures professionals can focus on their work without interruption. When placed in the charger case, they can be fully charged in just under two hours. The receiver offers smooth control with an intuitive 1.1" HD AMOLED touchscreen and navigation with a simple scroll knob.
