Peak Design launches minimalist Form series camera straps

Peak Design announces the Form Series, a new line of minimalist camera straps available in leather and rope. The company is also updating its popular Cuff wrist strap with matching leather and rope variants and a new Field Plate.

Form Leather

Made from full-grain bovine leather with no visible stitching or bulky hardware. The leather develops a unique patina over time while maintaining durability. Features include:

• Seamless construction with integrated hardware
• Custom sealed underside for grip and comfort while preventing shoulder slippage
• Machined aluminium accessory loop for strap storage or single-point carry (crossbody sizes only)
• Full compatibility with all Peak Design strap systems
• Gold-rated leather the Leather Working Group. Gold rating is the highest environmental certification for leather production, verifying responsible practices in water use, chemical management, and energy consumption
• Available in amber, tan and black

Form Rope

Constructed from custom basket-woven nylon/poly rope that balances strength, comfort, and minimal stretch. The rope terminates seamlessly into colour-matched Anchor housings for a cohesive look. Features include:

• Optimized rope weave for comfortable all-day carry
• No visible seams or stitching
• Machined aluminium accessory loop for strap storage or single-point carry (crossbody sizes only)
• Full compatibility with all Peak Design strap systems
• Available in black, kelp, and ocean colours

Both straps use Peak Design's proven Anchor Link system with housings made from glass-reinforced nylon. The updated v5 Anchors feature a cleaner look while maintaining backward compatibility with all existing Peak Design straps and accessories. Both the rope and leather strap come in 4 different sizes. Length with anchors is: neck 78.5 cm, short 103.5 cm, standard 118.5 cm and long 133.5 cm

Updated Cuff Series
The Cuff wrist strap now comes in matching Leather and Rope variants to complement the Form Series.

Cuff Leather features full-grain bovine leather that seamlessly integrates with Peak Design's Anchor Link system. A machined aluminium slip-adjuster automatically cinches during drops for secure protection. The leather carries Leather Working Group Gold certification for environmental standards.

Cuff Rope uses the same custom basket-woven nylon/poly construction as Form Rope, with colour-matched Anchor housings for a cohesive look. A glass-reinforced nylon slip-adjuster provides drop protection, while an aluminium stopper allows wrist loop adjustment for optimal fit.

Both Cuff variants feature updated v5 Anchors with simplified design and maintain full compatibility with all Peak Design strap systems. Each supports cameras of any size with standard strap loops.

New Field Plate tripod plate

The new Field Plate is a quick-connecting tripod plate with a first-of-its-kind pop-up connection screw that eliminates the need for hex tools or coins.

The plate features a button-activated screw mechanism that pops up to reveal an ergonomic thumb-drive handle, providing more surface area than traditional D-rings for secure attachment and rapid removal. When not in use, the screw sits flush against the plate.

Key features include CNC-machined aluminium construction, compression-moulded rubber pad to prevent camera twisting, and four integrated Anchor loops for Peak Design straps. Compatible with all Peak Design tripods, Capture Clip V3, and most ARCA-compatible tripod heads from other manufacturers.
