New autofocus lenses from Sirui

Sirui keeps to develops new lenses at a furious pace. Recently they released the compact Nightwalker cinema lens series which attracted a lot of attention by the industry professionals. Today they introduce a new compact and more budget-friendly trio of autofocus lenses for APS-C, Sirui Sniper AF lenses.

The new Sirui Sniper AF series includes 23mm, 33mm, and a 56mm lens (35mm, 50mm, and 85mm equivalents on a full-frame).

The lenses are designed for Sony E, Fuji X and Nikon Z mirrorless APS-C cameras and feature a F1.2 ultra-fast aperture that produces a mesmerizing shallow depth of field with a stunning bokeh. A lightweight and compact design contributes to a perfect balance between the lens and the camera.

The lens construction consists lenses of 12 elements in 11 groups for the 23mm and 56mm, while the 33mm lens has 11 elements in 10 groups. High Refractive Index Glass lenses and ED (for 33 and 56mm only) lenses have been added to the construction to provide an excellent edge-to-edge image quality regardless of focus distance or aperture. A 11 aperture blades design creates soft, round and beautiful bokeh that helps to separate your subject from the background.

All lenses in the Sniper series share a uniform 58mm filter thread and same characteristic. Even when shooting with stabilizers or gimbals, lenses can be quickly swapped without having to rebalancing.

An STM focus motor provides swift and accurate focus and supports subject and eye autofocus tracking for both stills and video.

All lenses are available for Sony E, Fujifilm X, and Nikon Z mirrorless systems in three different color options, black carbon, silver and white. The lenses are also available as a kit including all three lenses and a protective case.
