• The Pentax WG-1000 is an entry-level waterproof camera that can be used at depths of up to 15 meters. The camera has a built-in flash and offers seven different shooting modes and 20 different color filter modes to help you get the look you want. Another special feature of the WG-1000 is that it can be sterilized with special solvents containing ethanol, sodium hypochlorite (approved for food disinfection) or chlorine dioxide. This means it can be used in medical facilities or on construction sites. The camera has a JIS Class 6 dustproof classification against dirt and stains and even shockproof against falls from a height of up to two metres.

• The Pentax WG-8 is a top-of-the-line waterproof camera designed for extreme conditions. Featuring a robust construction, it can operate underwater up to a depth of 20 meters for up to two hours of continuous use. The camera is equipped with a back-illuminated CMOS image sensor with 20 effective megapixels, ensuring high-quality image capture even in low light.

With a 5x zoom lens equivalent to 28-140mm in 35mm format, the lens construction consists of 11 elements (including 5 aspherical) in 9 groups. This versatile zoom range is perfect for capturing a variety of subjects, from wide-angle landscapes to close-up details. Additionally, the WG-8 supports 4K-resolution movie recording, allowing you to capture stunning videos with remarkable clarity.

The Pentax WG-8 offers extensive shooting and editing functions, including 18 scene modes and 12 digital filters, to help you achieve the perfect shot in any situation. Six LEDs are mounted around the lens to minimise camera and subject blur in macro and close-up shots. The six LEDs can be set individually. This unit also offers selective lighting, where the user can activate only the horizontally or vertically aligned lights to illuminate the subject more three-dimensionally and emphasise its contours. A built-in GPS module automatically records position data and travel log data onto captured images. The camera is IP6X dustproof and crushproof with a force of 100kgf.

The Pentax WG-1000 is available in a gray or olive color and the WG-8 is available in a black or green color.
