The new Lexar Professional Workflow line is a modular system designed to streamline the process of transferring and backing up multimedia files for photographers and videographers. The series consist of a customizable Workflow Dock, blazing fast memory card readers for both CFexpress type A and B and for SD and MicroSD and IP68 rated SSD in sizes up to 4 TB. Users can customize the system by selecting modules that match their specific media formats and storage needs, ensuring a streamlined and efficient workflow. With the capability to transfer data from multiple cards simultaneously, the system significantly reduces time spent on file management. The modular design offers scalability, allowing easy integration of new modules as new card formats and storage solutions become available, keeping the system current and adaptable.

 

 

• The Lexar Professional Workflow Dock is a customizable, six-bay that lets users mix and match reader and portable SSD modules to optimize their workflow, with Thunderbolt 4 connectivity offering speeds up to 40Gbps and support for 8K HDMI displays. The dock features a solid aluminum design for heat dissipation, built-in fan cooling, extra USB-C and USB-A ports, and supports simultaneous data transfers across multiple drives. It’s compatible with the latest CFexpress and UHS-II card formats and can be daisy-chained for enhanced productivity, including 8K editing capabilities.

 

• The Lexar Professional USB 3.2 Workflow Card Reader is available in two versions, one with two slots for UHS-II SD and microSD and one with a dual-slot SD UHS-II card. Both readers can offload data from both cards simultaneously. With transfer speeds up to 312MB/s per slot, it maximizes efficiency while featuring a durable, scratch-resistant aluminum finish. The reader comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable, a USB-A adapter, and is compatible with the Lexar Professional Workflow and Workflow Go systems for customized setups. It is ready to use immediately and includes a three-year warranty for added reliability.

 

• The Lexar Professional Workflow CFexpress 4.0 Card Readers, available for both Type B and Type A CFexpress cards, are crafted to integrate seamlessly with the Lexar Professional Workflow dock, offering an optimized and efficient data management experience. Both readers deliver impressive transfer speeds of up to 40Gbps, significantly enhancing workflow efficiency, while their durable, scratch-resistant aluminum finish ensures reliable performance even during demanding on-location shoots.
  The Type B Card Reader supports the latest CFexpress 4.0 Type B cards and is backward-compatible with CFexpress 2.0, making it ideal for maximizing productivity. The Type A Card Reader provides read speeds of up to 1800MB/s and write speeds of up to 1650MB/s, and it is backward-compatible with CFexpress 2.0 Type A cards, further enhancing versatility.

 

• The Lexar Professional Workflow Portable SSD is available in 2 TB and 4 TB versions and is designed to accelerate post-production workflows with impressive read and write speeds of up to 2000MB/s. It features an IP68-rated design, providing top-tier protection against water, dust, and drops of up to three meters, while its solid aluminum construction ensures durability and efficient heat dissipation for stable performance. The drive remains cool even at high speeds, thanks to its thermal control design. The SSD offers customizable solutions for maximum efficiency.

Later this autumn, Lexar will expand the Professional Workflow series with a new two-compartment dock featuring a built-in 5000mAh power bank, offering even more versatility for on-the-go media management.
