Hikmicro is introducing a new model in its highly popular Lynx series: the Lynx 3.0 LQ35. Known as the brand’s most popular product line, the Lynx series has earned a strong reputation among hunters and outdoor users looking for compact thermal performance.
New sensor with better contrast
With the launch of the Lynx 3.0 LQ35, Hikmicro now brings its advanced Q sensor technology to the Lynx range at a more accessible price point. Previously available only in the more expensive Falcon series, the new Q sensor now makes its way into the Lynx lineup, giving users the opportunity to step up to a more refined viewing experience without moving into a higher price category. This makes the new Lynx 3.0 LQ35 an especially attractive option for users who want premium image performance in a compact and affordable handheld format.
Compared to the H sensor found in earlier models, a Q-type detector typically delivers a more vivid image with better micro-contrast. In practice, this means users can see edges, fur, branches, terrain texture, and differences in heat more clearly, especially in poor weather or otherwise challenging conditions. The biggest benefit is not always a longer detection range on paper, but better recognition and identification because the image appears cleaner and less blurry.
The Lynx 3.0 LQ35 is built for users who need strong performance at mid to long distances. It features a 640 × 512 thermal detector, a 35 mm F1.0 lens, a basic magnification of 1.9x, and a detection range of up to 1800 meters. With a thermal sensitivity of less than 15 mK, the monocular is designed to reveal fine heat differences and deliver excellent detail across open terrain.
To further enhance the viewing experience, the Lynx 3.0 LQ35 is equipped with Hikmicro’s Shutterless Imaging System, together with AI-powered Image Pro 3.0 and Zoom Pro algorithms. A 0.49-inch AMOLED display with 1920 × 1080 resolution provides a sharp and immersive view, while the lightweight 354.5 g design keeps the unit compact and easy to carry in the field. The monocular also uses a replaceable and rechargeable 18650 battery and delivers up to 4.5 hours of continuous operation at -20°C.
The new LQ35 is available in two variants, one standard and one with a built in LRF with the ability to measure distances up to 1000 meters.
