Focus Nordic continues its expansion with a new sales office in Bulgaria.

Following the establishment of a Romanian office in 2024, Focus Nordic is now taking the next step in the European market. The Bulgarian launch will be conducted in cooperation with a number of the company's most prominent suppliers, including Lexar, SmallRig, Samyang, Ricoh-Pentax, Nisi, Wandrd, Yashica, Kodak and more.

"In collaboration with our suppliers, we have established ourselves in a number of European countries over the last 10 years, so that we now have employees in 12 countries," says CEO Mikael Westheimer. "In all countries, our primary focus is on imaging products, but we have also started to expand with optical products for outdoor and hunting."

As we have been selling goods to Bulgaria for several years through our export department, we are familiar with the highly skilled dealers and the creative environment of photographers, filmmakers, and enthusiasts, and we see great potential in the market. By establishing a local presence, we can serve and develop the market in partnership with dealers and our manufacturers.

Boris Trifonov has been appointed Country Manager for Bulgaria. He is a well-known figure in the industry with over 20 years of experience in imaging.

“We are thrilled to have Boris on board,” says Westheimer. “His deep knowledge of the local market and strong connections in the industry make him the ideal person to lead our Bulgarian operations.”

The new office and Bulgarian website were both launched in February.
