Focus Nordic is thrilled to announce that we will attend the Energa Camerimage 2022 – a international festival for and about cinematographers and cinematography.

Energa Camerimage is an internationally recognized festival in Poland that over the years has attracted several of the world's most famous directors, Academy Awards winners and filmmakers.

We see an increased demand for products for professional video- and cinematography says Mikael Westheimer, CEO of Focus Nordic.

The exhibition is a perfect opportunity for us to showcase ourselves and our products to the industry and create new contacts. We believe that the product segment within cinema and video will be a strong growth area for us in 2023.

During the festival, cinematographers, directors and other industry professionals have the opportunity to meet and exchange experiences.

Beside the main competition of the festival there´s also a display of the latest modern technologies and film equipment and numerous inspiring seminars and workshops led by some of the greatest modern cinematographers, directors and other filmmakers.

Energa Camerimage also helps young filmmakers and integrates them with the community of those already recognized, allowing them to explore new artistic areas.

Focus Nordic has a large and broad creative portfolio of professional products for filmmakers and carries brands like Kupo grip, SmallRig, Sirui lenses and tripods, NiSi cinema filters and Zhiyun gimbal to mention a few. During the festival we will display cinema lenses from both Samyang Xeen and Tokina and lighting from Nanlux.

Tokina cinema lenses feature an exciting line up of modern ultra-fast cinema primes, versatile zooms and macros featuring a ground up optical design that covers all large format cinema camera sensors. The lenses are characterized by virtually zero focus breathing, exceptional bokeh, soft flares and delivers performance well above expectations. The lenses are available in a wide array of focal lengths and mount options designed for every level of production needs.

Samyang is well-known for creating high-quality cinema lenses for both cinematographers and videographers. At the festival we are showing the recently released new professional Xeen Meister series and the new Xeen anamorphic. The Meister series is a lens series that consist of 35, 50 and 85mm. All lenses incorporate titanium in the lens barrel and comes with a dynamic optical construction and a bright T1.3. Samyang 50mm T2.3 X2 Xeen Anamorphic is designed for high-end cinematography and supports resolution up to 8K. The X2 squeeze factor produces a 2.55:1 aspect ratio once desqueezed.

With us at the fair we also have Samyang's popular Xeen CF series which is known for their compact and lightweight construction.

Nanlux LED´s breathes quality and have received praises of the industry, great reviews and commendations for its incredible performance, price and size. They recently released the Evoke 1200B – a new IP54 rated LED that features advanced bi-color light with ensuring continuity and accuracy in the CCT change from 2700K all the way up to 6500K. It boosts a remarkable luminance level up to 61,030lux@3m 5600K (with reflector), comparable to that of a 1.8kW PAR or 2.5kW HMI Fresnel.
