The Ninja Phone introduces a revolutionary way to enhance the iPhone’s capabilities for professional camera connectivity, delivering stunning HDR visuals directly on Apple’s OLED display. By encoding HDMI signals into ProRes or H.265 at 10-bit quality, the Ninja Phone seamlessly streams content from any professional camera to the iPhone 15 Pro or Pro Max via USB-C.

 

The Atomos Ninja Phone provides the user with not only a powerful recorder, but also an outstanding monitor with a high contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1 and support for Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HLG standards. It can display 11 stops of dynamic range and achieves a peak brightness of 1600 nits, making it ideal for HDR content creation and outdoor viewing.

Thanks to Atomos’ efficient ProRes pipeline, camera output appears on the iPhone screen with zero latency, enabling real-time monitoring and playback of high-quality footage. Users have the flexibility to store ProRes-encoded video locally as .mov files or transcode it to 10-bit H.265 for streamlined camera-to-cloud workflows or live streaming via 5G and Wi-Fi 6E connectivity.
