A new thermal monocular from Hikmicro

The new Lynx 2.0, the second generation of the popular thermal monocular from Hikmicro, keeps the same sleek design as the previous generation but features a new larger OLED screen that makes it easier to see and spot heat signatures.

 

The Hikmicro Lynx 2.0 is a handheld thermal imaging monocular with several advanced features that not only appeals to hunters but also to outdoor enthusiasts and bird watchers as it helps to see game and birds that may otherwise be difficult to see with the human eye or in complete darkness.

The smart design makes it very easy to use and scan the environment for heat sources. The upgraded Lynx 2.0 features a new crystal clear 0.39 inch OLED display with a 1024 × 768 resolution which makes it easier to see and distinguish different heat signatures. The user can choose between four different palettes depending on situation and personal preferences: Black Hot, White Hot, Red Hot and Fusion.

 

With a new advanced thermal 384 × 288 sensor with 12 micrometer pixel pitch and a thermal sensitivity of NETD < 20mK the new Lynx 2.0 can spot even the smallest heat signature no matter weather conditions all the way up to 1200 meters (LH25).

The monocular can record stunning images in 720×576 resolution and photos and videos with audio are stored on the built-in 16GB memory. By pairing the monocular with the Hicmicro app, it is easy to share images with hunting colleagues or on social media.

 

The monocular is powered by one replaceable and rechargeable 18650 Li-ion battery which gives an operating time of 6,5 hours.  The monocular also support power supply via Usb-C for extended operating time.

 

The new Lynx is available in three different models: Lynx 2.0 LH15, Lynx 2.0 LH19 and Lynx 2.0 LH25 which all have the same advanced and sensitive sensor but with different detection ranges.
