As cold, snow, and ice have descended on much of the country, our teams at Ferrellgas have been busy working to fill our customers’ propane tanks. As a propane customer, it’s important to keep some key points in mind as winter weather continues.
First, remember to keep your driveway and the path leading to your tank clear of snow and ice. The safety of our drivers and our customers is our number one priority. If we cannot safely access your tank, we won’t be able to make a delivery and will have to reschedule.
You may also consider marking your tank’s location with a stake or a flag if you live in an area that gets a lot of snow. It will help our drivers locate your tank quickly and efficiently. Also, please unlock any gates leading up to your tank and secure any animals ahead of your delivery.
In addition, if you are one of our Will Call customers, please contact us to schedule a fill when your tank reaches 30%. Please also allow at least seven business days to receive your fill. Will Call customers can find more information about setting up a delivery here.
Unfortunately, winter weather can sometimes be unpredictable. Extreme conditions may result in delivery delays because our drivers cannot travel safely on the roads. If the road leading to your home, your driveway, or the path to your tank isn’t clear, your delivery may need to be rescheduled.
As always, we thank our customers for doing their part to help us deliver the propane they need safely and reliably. If you have any questions about Ferrellgas or the services we offer, you can chat with us on Ferrellgas.com.
