During the certification process we have established a systematic approach to Business Continuity Management. Among other things, we have conducted a business impact analysis to identify parts of our business that are more critical than others, Caroline Lendowski, Business Continuity & Risk Manager at Benify, says.
Disruptions to a business can occur due to pandemics, strikes, war, and terrorist attacks, as well as cyber attacks and other IT crises, including those affecting external suppliers. These risk factors can impede critical processes in the day-to-day management of transactions, customer support, and incidents, among other things.
A deeper analysis of what mitigates identified risks, as well as plans and exercises, allows us to be more proactive and prepared, which in turn enables us to manage different types of disruptive events, Caroline Lendowski says.
In addition to ISO 22301, Benify has the certifications 27001, 27018, and 27701, and is also SOC2 Type II audited.
